they are about human short-comings,
about the chasm between dreams and deeds,
about people who want to but cannot.
They are, therefore, about something that is
unfinished, unfulfilled, incomplete.
They are about the melancholy of the impossible or the prohibited,
but they are also about the enjoyment
and the pleasure of every step in the right direction,
or of challenging or flirting with what we call fate.
The good documentary balances on the knife-edge of life.
Here, the documentary maker is all ears.
