One year ago, our German colleague Helmut Kopetzky published a book called „Radiojahre – Vom linearen Zeitalter in die vernetzte Welt“ (approx. „From the linear age to the network society“) as free Internet download – a personal review of our appreciated radio genre, investigated during 40 years from the angle of a hard-working feature author and producer.
Helmut was grateful to receive a vivid feedback by the documentary family, which helped him to alter bits and bytes into black letters on white paper.
New title: “Objektive Luegen, subjective Wahrheiten – Radio in der Ersten Person” (approx. “Objective lies, Subjective truth – Radio First Person Singular”.
This book – most of it regrettably in German only – comprises 379 pages of reading material (excerpts of scripts, personal notes and professional correspondences), including 65 illustrations.
It can be ordered in every bookshop as well as via www.amazon.de and from many other online shops.
Costs 18 Euro.
