Announcing the Podstantsiya Challenge for December 2008/ New Year 2009 Season!

FUTURISTIC DINNER – This is a topic for December, for the New Year at Podstantsiya.

In 2009 we will celebrate the hundredth anniversary of Futurism. «The Futurist Manifesto» was published in the French newspaper Le Figaro in February 1909.

It was the beginning of the age of Futurism. And we suggest everybody taking part in our new action: let’s gather around a virtual Futuristic table.

Dear Friends of Radio Diaries,Welcome to the Radio Diaries year-end newsletter. 2008 was big for us: we produced more stories in the past twelve months than ever before. After two large, multi-year projects (Mandela: An Audio History and Thembi’s AIDS Diary), it’s been fun to bring so many different stories to the NPR airwaves.

Thanks to Anayansi Diaz-Cortes and Samara Freemark of Radio Diaries, along with Ben Shapiro, Deborah George, Chris Turpin and Sue Johnson for all their dedication and help this year.

Dearest Colleagues,Christmas is just around the corner and the new forthcoming year at a glimpse of an eye! RTP International Relations – Clara, Ana and I, We would like to thank you for the superb support, reciprocity and mutual achievements amongst all of us during the year that has almost gone. We wish you that 2009 will prove to be even more successful and bring us more cooperation, communication as well as more stability and working partnerships between all our countries.

There is one one thing left to say… HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A JOYFULL HAPPY NEW YEAR. Lets Hope Peace and Tollerance will be in the whole World for 2009.
