attention for the last minute … the text!

part of presentation at IFC 2007

Reaching an audience with a radio feature is not always easy.
This is why we made a videoclip to promote our radio feature “Adios Acapulco ” (broadcast on Radio 1 of VRT Belgium).
In the video you get a first impression of the main character of the feature: a singing toiletlady.
After the videoclip you get a text (in Dutch).
It says “If you don’t want to see more of this, then listen”.
Then we give the viewer information about our programme and website.
The good thing about this videoclip is not only that it made quite some viewers curious about the radio feature, it also generated a lot of extra press attention in newspapers (“Toiletlady star on the internet”) and other websites.”
Wim Vandenbussche (VRT (B)
