As you probably know there will be a pre selection among the entries in the beginning of March.
If you have any questions about the IFC do not hesitate to contact Erling Kristensen erk@dr.dk.
For instance if you did not get a mail back from Erling – that your entry has arrived to Copenhagen – then mail Erling.
We are looking forward to see you all in April.

Call For Proposals – Sound Symposium XIV, July 3-13, 2008 | St. John’s NL Canada
With the theme “Inner Space, Outer Space”, we invite artists from all sound arts fields to propose projects, installations and performances for Sound Symposium 2008.
Help us celebrate the first 25 years of the Sound Symposium!
We will be looking at proposals as we receive them and will continue to accept applications until we have filled our program, so we suggest that you submit your ideas before our deadline of July 15, 2007.

1 February: Deadline for submitting entries to the Åke Blomstrøm Grant (contact is Berit Hedemann, berit.hedemann@nrk.no
19 February: Deadline for submitting radio feature productions for potential inclusion in the listening sessions. You are invited to provide one 10-minute audio excerpt together with the corresponding English translation, as well as a synopsis about the production. You can send this excerpt either by uploading an audio file to the following ftp server:

Please send an e-mail to erk@dr.dk with the relevant English script attached. The EBU Features Group will meet in Copenhagen on 3 March to select the productions that will feature in the conference listening sessions. Confirmation of the selection will be mailed after this meeting.
16 March: Deadline for BOTH conference AND hotel reservation. A conference registration form is appended. You can register for the conference and make the hotel reservation by sending the registration form to: Erling Kristensen erk@dr.dk
2 April: Deadline for sending the selected listening session programmes to DR. The programmes must be sent on CD to the address below. DR will duplicate the CD for the conference participants.

Programmes selected for listening sessions: A maximum of one hour will be available to each participating organization or independent producer to present a programme.This means five minutes of introduction by the programme maker or their representative about the broadcast surrounding/conditions, 25 minutes of listening and 30 minutes for discussion. Scripts: Each programme presented must have a full transcript in English. Ideally the transcript should show the original language on the left page, the English on the right.
Delegates must bring 100 copies of their script to Copenhagen.
