A unique symposium exploring the art of sound with the moving image

30 March – 2 April 2005
At the Purcell Room, South Bank Centre, London

(School of Sounds)

This year, for the first time, Skillset if offering bursaries to attend the School of Sound through their Film Futures Fund.
This applies to UK residents who have worked professionally in film or TV for at least two years.
The deadline for applications is 15 February 2005.

Film London is offering bursaries to women directors and people from black minority ethnic backgrounds living in London.

As the SoS is held only every two years, we urge all those eligible to take advantage of these funds.

This year’s programme includes:
Joëlle Bouvier, Sean Callery, Michel Chion, Mychael Danna, Gerhard Eckel, Heiner Goebbels, Tomlinson Holman, Ren Klyce, David Ossman, Annabelle Pangborn, Chris Petit, Piers Plowright, Sally Potter, Thelma Schoonmaker, Judith Walcutt and Dede Allen (in a video interview).
